Charlotte Tilbury Perfect Skin Day

Charlotte Tilbury Perfect Skin Day –

A little while ago, the ladies over at Charlotte Tilbury emailed me to ask if I would be interested in sampling some of their products in the new Magic Away range. I’m not a “beauty” blogger per say – but I definitely do enjoy wearing make up from time to time (and sometimes more make up than others!) and since my current foundation was quickly coming to an end I thought it was the perfect thing to try! Charlotte Tilbury have a really great vegan friendly range and I thought some of you reading might be interested in hearing more about these products – SO I’ve decided to do a “make up tutorial” for you! (I’ve sped up the boring bits and please excuse me during this video as I continuously crack myself up!)

(Apart from my great* make up advice – I’m very chatty in this video so you will also learn about ‘that one time that I had to use all my “yoga-breathing” to save myself from throttling my husband’ and you will hear me name-dropping like a MO’Fo. Can’t help myself – lol.)

(*definitely not a conventional “beauty blogger” so I wouldn’t necessarily take make up application advice from me! Ha!)

But this is just how I put my make up on and – as many of you ask about my products from time to time – here is a little run down of what I use and how I do it!

Products:

Charlotte Tilbury – Magic Away concealer (No. 6)
Bodyshop Coverstick
Yardley Toast foundation
Mac lipstick creme de nude
Mac eyeshadows – Mulch + Kid
Charlotte Tilbury translucent powder
Clarins Mascara – Supra Volume
Divaderme lash extender
Mac Make up brushes – (the travel set, lol.)

I’m a sucker for great packaging and Charlotte Tilbury definitely know how to impress! They are also offering free gift wrap on orders over £70 right now – so that’s basically Christmas gifting and wrapping sorted in a few quick clicks!

They sent over the Magic away concealer which contains Persian back extract which helps skin conditioning and reducing the appearance of dark circles. It also has extract of wild indigo which is a plant used in Ayurvedic tradition and helps to enhance skin luminosity.

The coverage lasts up to 15 hours and actually the first day that I “tested” out this product (which are the two pics below), two different people sent me a message on my instagram account to ask me about my skin because it looked so good! (Now that’s impressive!)

I’m totally loving the look of these beach bronzer highlighter sticks and really love how you can see what each colour looks like on the skin tone that is most similar to yours and – How good do these cream eye-shadows look?! And actually if you are traveling this festive season but still want to take some gifts with you – what a great idea to grab some make up brushes as a gift for your lady/make-up wearing pals! Lightweight, easy to pack, something they will probably use daily and long lasting! Tri-winning!

I’d love to know what you think about this make up video! haha! It’s definitely the first time I’ve ever done something like that – but it was actually super fun to do!
