Yoga and art journaling course in Wimbledon

Yoga and creativity are both such powerful tools for us to heal, find happiness and reconnect back to ourselves.

Just as our bodies need movement, physical challenge, nourishment and restoration, so too do our souls need expression, creativity, playfulness and curiosity.

This has nothing to do with whether you believe you are “artistic” or “creative” but more to do with allowing yourself the opportunity to explore creative outlets in a completely non-judgmental, supportive and free-form way.
Everybody needs at least one creative practice that is NON-goal orientated, for the purpose of allowing your creativity to unfold.

Creativity is the centre of our self expression. It’s the way we get dressed in the morning, it’s the route home we take from work, it’s the birthday card we pick, the job we choose, the life we live. Dare to let your creativity unleash itself! You’d be amazed at how much wild creative potential is desperate to light you up!

When we move the body in a yoga practice, we open up, shift and create space in the body where there was previously tightness and in doing so we allow energy to flow more freely through the system.

Similarly when we explore our creativity, playfulness and curiosity we allow the energy of the heart and soul to flow easily and powerfully through the system.

Combining creativity and movement is the perfect system to bring you back to YOU.

I know how powerful these practices are together through how I have experienced them in my own life and I am SO super excited about this new Yoga and Art Journaling course that I am bringing to Wimbledon – starting Saturday September 1st

Each week we will be exploring a different physical theme through a movement/yoga practice which will correlate to creative exercises/prompts and techniques which we will explore in our art journals (a big sketchbook journal is provided as part of the course).

Sometimes the yoga practices will be dynamic, sometimes restorative and meditative. They are inclusive for all.

The format will run as a yoga/movement based practice which will then be followed by learning/exploring a creative technique in a relaxed environment – so there will be the option for people to bring snacks/drinks as we dive into chatting, exploring the concepts, sharing our learnings and offering support to one another. Apart from this being a wonderful space for learning, growing and self discovery I also envision it being an incredible opportunity for cultivating a supportive high vibe girl-tribe! (And we all need a little bit more of that in our lives).

Below is a guideline as to the themes, elements and creative explorations that we will be running through each week – (all art supplies will be provided and are included in the cost)

I’m looking for 12 high vibe women who are looking to dive into an exploration of the body, mind and soul, who maybe feel like they have lost a little bit of that connection to themselves, and who are looking to tap back into their wild creative potential whilst supporting sharing and holding space for other high vibe women!
