7 things Sunday: Diary of a yoga teacher

It’s so wonderful to arrive at the end of the week feeling like it’s really been a wonderful week. And this week for me really has. Here’s my round up of it –

  1. Had an amazing yoga and creativity workshop that I hosted with Phantai yesterday morning. I was smiling so much during Savasana as I realised that this was something I had put into motion in my ‘manifesting-bucket’ almost 3 years ago now and to see it all start to come to life was just so powerful and incredible! I appreciate and send so much gratitude out to everyone who came to support and join in. I cannot wait to develop these workshops even further with the ideas I have. Stay tuned.
  2. We spent the day at Sissinghurst Castle Gardens with the mom-in-law – which was absolutely gorgeous. The mom-in-law is an AVID gardener – so The Warr and I got the full rundown of all the plant species in the garden.
  3. FUN FACT: “If you are ever out in the wildnerness… and you cut yourself, make sure you use this plant – (a STIPTIK) as it will naturally stop your bleeding.” And now you know. You’re welcome.
  4. My parents are arriving on Tuesday to stay with us for the week and I’m SO excited! My mom hasn’t seen our home yet – and I’m so excited to show them round the ‘hood!
  5. We watched a silent cinema out in the park, 2 mins walk from us on Saturday evening and it was just the greatest! It literally was The Greatest. The Greatest Showman, which was the greatest. I’m going to stop this point now before I landslide myself into some Trumpisms.
  6. THIS WEATHER. I can’t even! GLORIOUS GLORIOUS GLORIOUS! I went to an Ayurvedic doctor in India whilst on my 500 hour training and he told me that if I live in London in the cold for too long I will be “very depressed” – but he I don’t think he took into account this glorious summer we are currently having – because it is definitely making my heart SING!
  7. I’m looking forward to a week of welcoming my folks, more sunshine, some intention setting, high vibing and probably a little bit less hustle as I show them around! Viva la London Summer!

I’m off to help* my husband make a thai-dish for us tonight, hope you have a wonderful week!

*loose term: probably will just end up hanging out with a glass of cold wine.
